The Museum of Health Care was highlighted during an edition of "CKWS TV Newswatch @ 6" on December 17, 2002
The Museum received $10,000 from Canadian Heritage in 2002 to support the Outreach Education Program and this cheque was presented by Honourable Peter Milliken, Speaker of the House of Commons and Member of Parliament for Kingston & the Islands.
This cheque was presented to former Board of Directors President and Chair, Donald Neil.
Speaking about the Outreach Education Program was former Educational Officer Caroline Field.
