
Activities from Home #1: Funny Bones! (Grade 1)
Students will apply their knowledge of the structure (bone type) and function of four major bone structures (skull, ribs, hands, femur) in this activity. Encourage students to recreate the four major bone structures in their skeletons at a Grade level appropriate amount of detail.

Activities at Home #3: Yum Yum Munch (Grades 1-3)
Apply knowledge of body systems to reconstruct the four stages of the digestive system. Explore how several organs interact to absorb nutrients vital to individual health from their daily dietary selections.

Activities at Home #2a: Grow Your Own Mold! (Grade 1 - 2)
Students will learn the importance of frequent handwashing by contrasting the production of mold on an object exposed to bacteria present on their hands throughout the course of a typical day, compared to the rate of mold production on an object exposed to recently washed hands. Students will also learn the importance of tracking the frequency of handwashing throughout their day-to-day routines.
