Science Rendezvous Kingston is a FREE, annual science festival for Southeastern Ontario families hosted by Queen's University.
Our 2026 event theme is IGNITE and will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 10 am to 3 pm at the Slush Puppie Place and along The Tragically Hip Way, and feature: 60 interactive booths, chemistry experiments, physics demonstrations, robots, and more!
At the Canadian Museum of Health Care’s booth, let’s explore electricity in Health Care!
Did you know electricity helps doctors save lives every day? At our booth, you can discover how static and current electricity made amazing inventions possible like x-rays, pacemakers, and Electroencephalography (EEG). None of these would work without electricity!
At our booth you can:
Make your own x-ray craft and light up real historic x-ray equipment
See static electricity in action with a fun experiment
Come explore, experiment, and see how electricity helps keep us healthy!
