LOUD DAY! - Balloon BLAST Scavenger Hunt
Drop-In Activities at the Museum of Health Care in Celebration of International Museum Day

Loud Day 2011On Wednesday, May 18, 2011, we invited visitors of all ages to make some noise in celebration of International Museum Day and Kingston's first annual LOUD DAY! with a "Balloon BLAST Scavenger Hunt" at the Museum of Health Care! For one day only our galleries were filled with balloons. Visitors popped the balloons to obtain skill-testing questions, and then tracked down the answers within the Museum! While they were at it, participants enjoyed some other special sounds like the beat of their hearts or the tap of a hammer on their knees by testing out medical instruments such as stethoscopes and reflex hammers!

LOUD DAY! is a partnership between the City of Kingston's Cultural Services Department and the Kingston Association of Museums, Art Galleries and Historic Sites (KAM).
